Danger Zone

Most school bus incidents occur when children disembark
from the bus and disappear from the driver's view.
The most dangerous area for children is the School
Bus Danger Zone that extends 10 feet from the bus in
all directions. When leaving the bus, children should
walk 10 feet away from the bus before turning.
